Important information for Wyoming Nonprofits
In collaboration with the Wyoming Community Foundation and ServeWyoming, Align is researching the possibility of reinvigorating a Wyoming nonprofit association. This association would be charged with providing, creating and compiling the information and resources necessary for Wyoming’s nonprofit community to thrive in bigger and better ways.
Align’s research will include:
- Assessing the benefits that an association brings to nonprofits
- Determining how an association could be used to augment nonprofit capacity
- Measuring potential engagement among nonprofit entities and foundations
- Identifying possible collaborative partners and their roles in the association
- Collecting best practices from successful associations across the country
- Analyzing lessons learned from past experiences
UPDATE Spring 2011
- The nonprofit survey results are complete and available on this website.
- Based on survey results, we will continue researching the products and services that survey respondents were most interested in. For those survey responders that were somewhat interested or very interested in health/dental/vision insurance, you will be receiving another survey to complete to gather more specific information.
- Utilizing data collected, a business plan (including funding strategies) will be developed and presented to a representative group of key stakeholders this summer. Based on feedback, the plan will be finalized and implemented.
