Wyoming nonprofit Organization's MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Wyoming Association of Nonprofit Organizations is open to nonprofits, grant-making organizations, public benefit corporations, individuals, businesses and government agencies that are interested in promoting and supporting the nonprofit sector in Wyoming. Dues for Wyoming nonprofit organizations are set on a sliding scale, based on the annual operating budget. A special membership category has been created for newly formed nonprofits. The dues for emerging nonprofit organizations is only $25, and the limit for this class of membership is two years.

[For purposes of completing Forms 990 or 990-PF, all dues in excess of $400 may reasonably be reported as a grant rather than an administrative cost. The Wyoming Association of Nonprofit Organizations will provide an annual statement substantiation to corporations for dues paid on behalf of corporate giving program members or combined corporate foundation and giving program members indicating the amount of the dues contribution that qualifies as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes.]
