Legislative Advocacy Workshop: What to Say and How to Say It

Nonprofit organizations have a critical role in shaping Wyoming’s future, and that requires nonprofit professionals to take action. In conjunction with the 2026 Legislative Breakfast, the organization invites nonprofit professionals to attend the Legislative Advocacy Workshop, an in-person learning opportunity. To craft compelling messages that resonate with decision-makers at all levels of government, and to help them better understand the nonprofit sector, participants will:
Who is this learning opportunity for? This workshop is designed for nonprofit professionals and board members representing WNN member organizations committed to engaging with decision-makers during the 2026 Legislative Breakfast and beyond.
Members of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network will then have the opportunity to use the messaging and skills developed in the workshop at the Member Mixer on the evening of Thursday, February 12, 2026, and at the 2026 Legislative Breakfast on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The Member Mixer Reception will follow the training at The Met, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Legislative Breakfast Travel Stipend Opportunity:
Recognizing the value of having nonprofit organizations from across the state represented at the 2026 Legislative Breakfast, the Wyoming Nonprofit Network is excited to be offering a limited number of $300 travel stipends. The deadline to apply is January 30th. Learn more and apply here.
